So who ended up with Sokka? Most likely, its Suki. Toph and Sokka would have had a very famous child which is not in the Legend of Korra so I dont think Toph and Sokka ever became a thing. Sokka and Suki probably did not have any kids because a descendant of Sokka would have been widly known.
The efforts at Ba Sing Se in 95 AG highlighted Iroh's experience to Sozin. Considering that the former Fire Lord valued his wisdom over Ozai, it can be extrapolated that he's somewhere between 55 and 63, old enough to be considered seasoned though young enough to have a meaningful rule.
Considering that Suki is only around 16 and is already a skilled fighter, she probably started her path as a warrior pretty young. This warrior has grown up in the midst of war, and it's obvious she started preparing for it at a young age. In fact, many Kyoshi warriors started their training early.
Zuko and Ty Lee have known each other since they were children. Ty Lee was friends with Zuko's sister, Azula.
